poppy day armistice day remembrance ....

every year the same. thing. think of the veterans. and the ones dying
'for our freedom' in vietnam in afghanistan, in iraq, in korea,
in german, holland , france.

they died for your freedom.

today I slammed shut the radio.
it was not my freedom they died for.
i dont know what they died for.

probably for nothing.

once it meant something. but not anylonger.

I think of that Beefheart song " You r Veterans Day Popppeeeeeeeee"
damn these wars and the friends that cant stop happening
and the sick ones, the mental case,s the anal ones,
the schizos, mental cases, and the paranoid ones, the anal retentive letter writers
and not. and the second rate writers. dishwasher. cut-rate bird brains
the sluts of book and slum of reading.

and war.

war.

between molecule and matter.

You got that friends? you gota that? practice what you preach.
